The Chaga mushroom grows uniquely on the birch tree and is almost as hard as the wood itself. It is unique in that it is the most nutritionally dense of all tree growths. Known by in Siberia as the ‘Gift from God’ and the “Mushroom of Immortality”, chaga mushroom chunks has been used by humans to support health for thousands of years. Chaga is best consumed in its natural state as a tea tonic that has brewed for 12 hours but you can brew an amazingly intense tea with these chaga pieces in far less time.

Our organic wild harvested Chaga mushroom chunks are sustainably harvested and sourced from remote, unspoiled forests that is the Scottish Highlands. They are cut by hand and are only found growing in the wild. Once cut, they are laid out in a temperature-controlled room at 26-28°c and relative humidity of around 80°c. They are then dried between 40-60°c, reducing the moisture to 12% in order to harvest. This nutrient-dense superfood is rich in antioxidants and may provide immune-boosting benefits. HOW TO USE - 

Boiling water can destroy the antioxidants in chaga, so should be avoided. Water to chaga ratio: Use approximately 1 cup of water for every 1 inch x 1 inch chunk of chaga. Steeping: Add the chaga to your water in a pot and bring it to a simmer. Simmer for a minimum of 15 minutes, and up to 1 hour.
